BACKGROUND:
☆ soft gel - flexible gel that moves with you, it gives your nails support in strength, but is easily soakable with acetone for removal. most popular method for most people. great for short to long length nails.
☆ medium-hard gel - similar to soft gel, but provides more strength and may appear thinner (feels closest your regular nail thickness). great for ultra thin, brittle, hard working nails, but still can be soaked off. good for medium length nails.
☆ hard gel - are not soakable, they will need to be filed off with a drill and hand buff to remove all gel. perfect for busy hands (especially health care workers, manual labor workers, food service jobs, etc. that requires a lot of hand washing and hard on nails). hard gel are great for long length nails and give that russian manicure-inspired look.
