Poly gel
polygel nails typically last between 3 to 4 weeks before they need a fill or removal. Its recommended getting them removed or filled at the 4 week mark to prevent nail damage and lifting. The feel: Polygel combines acrylic strength with hard gel flexibility. It feels much lighter and more natural than traditional acrylics. The maintenance: you will see natural nail growth near the cuticle after 2-3weeks, requiring a fill-in or a safe soak off removal with acetone.
GelX
Last typically between 3-4 weeks ( up to 5 weeks with great care) NO FILLS unlike acrylics, GelX extensions are full-coverage soft gel tips that cannot be filled; they must be completely soaked off and replaced. The look : they feel lightweight and flexible resembling natural or acrylic nails without the heavy chemical odor or thick bulk.
